Eng Gang is a financial consultant at HopeBill and one of the millions of office workers moving through Mud City every morning.
He takes the train, goes to work, answers messages, comes home and occasionally ends the day at Happy Life Bar. Nothing about his life seems particularly unusual. That may be the point.
Maya understands attention. Her custom pink python mask, online presence and instinct for what people are watching have turned everyday Mud City into part of her personal stage.
She knows when to post, when to appear and when disappearing for a while makes people pay even more attention.

Tiger Boss owns Happy Life Bar. He has spent enough nights behind the same tables to recognise regulars, trouble, celebrations and bad decisions before most people notice them.
His Level 3 mask helps. Experience helps more.
In a city where almost everyone is recognised through an animal mask, Evan Tesat walks around wearing a red blindfold instead.
He performs music, drinks with people he probably should remember the next morning, does his laundry and somehow continues moving through a city built for masks. For now, that is probably enough to know.
